Kia Carens Clavis to be Launched on 23 May in India

Kia Karens Clavis will be launched in India on May 23. The MPV will be available in seven trims, which include HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX & HTX+.

Exterior

Featuring the new Digital Tiger Face design, it consists of a fresh split headlamp setup at the front. Key features include Starmap LED connected taillamps, 17-inch crystal-cut dual-tone alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates with a Satin Chrome finish, side door garnish inserts with Metal Paint, and a striking new Ivory Silver Gloss body colour.

It will be available in various colours like Ivory Silver Gloss, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, and Clear White.

Features

Available in six- and seven-seat configurations, the cabin features a dual-tone Triton Navy and Beige theme.

On the front, the new models include a twin 26.62-inch panoramic display, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a dual-camera dash cam with mobile connectivity, front ventilated seats, in-built navigation, and a Bose premium audio system.

On the safety front, Carens Clavis is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This features Collision Avoidance Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Departure Warning.

Engine

Kia has retained the same powertrain setup in the new Carens Clavis as in the standard Carens, which includes a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The transmission option features 6-speed manual, 6-speed clutchless manual (iMT), 6-speed torque converter automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
